Enhancing Road Safety with Progressive Safe System (PSS) Compliance Solutions
As part of the Mayor of London’s Vision Zero plans to eliminate all deaths and serious injuries on London’s transport network by 2041, TFL has released an enhancement to the current Direct Vision Standard (DVS) ‘Safe System’ with the introduction of the ‘Progressive Safe System’ (PSS) from October 2024.
From 28 October 2024 HGVs over 12T must meet a minimum standard of a three-star rating, where vehicles do not meet this minimum standard operators are required to implement a series of vehicle safety measures, which are designed to reduce the risks that HGVs present to vulnerable road users (VRU). Vehicles must then obtain a safety permit before entering and operating in Greater London.
We currently offer Radar & AI Camera options which all comply with TFL Requirements. Our Flagship Move Off Information System (MOIS) & Blind Spot Information System (BSIS) has been tested by the Association of Vehicle Installers (AVI) and comes with Pass Test Certification.

Option 2: AI Camera / Sensor / Radar kit
This Complete system is for all New Vehicles 12 Tonnes and above that have 0-2 star ratings. As well as upgrading older DVS systems by replacing the Sensors with new AI sensors. This uses the existing sensor holes, thus reducing panel damage as no more holes are needed to be drilled.
Option 3: AI Camera kit
This Complete kit is for all New Vehicles that require the Progressive Safe System. Using AI Camera technology, this system only detects Vulnerable Road Users (VRU’s). So no false pick-ups of stationary objects such as road traffic signs, barriers, and bins.
Consisting of Forward forward-facing MOIS AI Camera windscreen mount, and two Nearside AI Camera that protect the nearside cab and rear of the vehicle. With A Pillar Audible and visual warning and driver cab display. And Audible External speaker with Timer cut off mute switch for operation in residential areas. With GPS control for operating at speeds 30 km/h and under only this makes this the go-to choice.
